No, no, no. I worked with Green in the 109pct and he was given the nickname "BOSCO" from Third Watch. We all swore and still believe today that the Bosco character was modeled after Marty. Hope all is well. Nice site. This looks like a very organized unit. I was reading some of the posts. Step it up for this guy. I know that what I say means nothing to some but, Marty works from the heart. He is an intense guy and he cares a lot about this job. Back him up. -Mike

REMINDER: The Chief of Transportation's Holiday Party is next week on 12/6. The money for the tickets are due by this Friday. I need every one of you that turn out tonight to be focused. This is a night that can be great, but can go bad quickly. It is busy, lots of bosses, and the crowds are out of their minds. One more thing. You all joined the auxiliary for your own reasons, but the overriding factor is you wanted to make a difference. Get off your lazy asses and make a difference. Yes traffic is not glamorous, you aren't chasing down perps and involved in car chases, but you are making a real difference. Live up to your commitment and get your asses in for holiday posts. I guarantee you will feel like you made a difference by new years. This is the time to give back to PO Green and PO Navarro for everything they've done for you!

If you've never worked the holiday season up at the rock it is an extremely busy time of year. It's no joke, this is what you signed up to do. We run the show up at Radio City and our two coordinators give us the trust to do the job. If you want to know what being a part of the CTTF is this is a prime example. Is traffic and pedestrian control glamorous? Maybe not, but it is an essential part of the job. We at CTTF are one of the main reasons this city functions on a daily basis. After working the holiday seasons the last couple of years since this unit was formed I can tell you that holiday post is one of the most difficult but one of the most fun posts you will stand w/ the NYPD and CTTF. Get with the program and stand post with us during the holidays, it's worth it.

He means business this time. I'm no boss and I have no authority to order any of you to do anything but as all of your colleagues I highly suggest everyone steps their game up. Nobody likes being upset or frustrated and nobody likes to see others down especially in this line of work. This isn't Wall Street, this isn't Apple, you are a special kind of person to do what you do here (especially for the wonderful salary you all receive) and our values I believe are higher than others. So lets prove it to eachother. Lets collectively make this a better place. We'll all take a fresh start right here and now. Good to see. Lead the way Green. If I may say so, Rafael Cruz had a great point. Dig deep within this unit and find those that claim to be part of this unit and find those that actually are. The ones that just do the claiming must go. I also agree with you. The fighting with each other and the know it alls must end their negative behavior. There is no place for that here. It is with out a doubt, behavior of people that are in this for themselves and not the team. Leaders should be helping others, not talking down to them every chance that they get. It is very abusive and immature. It has to stop. Make the changes needed. We trust you.

Short lived. Request denied by someone a lot higher than me. Huge changes that I want to make have been authorized. I have been told to do whatever I need to do, no questions asked. That being said, this unit is going to be transformed. Leadership issues will be dealt with and terminations will occur. Note what I just wrote. If you care about your status, you have tomorrow and Thursday nights to show us that you should remain a part of his team. I am Motivated, Dedicated, and Proud!!! I want to be here! I care about what I do, what I signed up for. I care about making a difference. Changes ahead.

Good Morning, I read the board and I feel as if some answers are owed to the members of this unit that show up and do an outstanding job day in and day out. We only have a hand full that actually do that. My decision to step away from the program comes only after the complete lack of cooperation on the part of certain people that run the CTTF and shall remain nameless. I am unable to do my job as it needs to be done. Apparently what I do in regards to this unit, is not a priority. In the past I have dealt with this problem by fighting with them, kicking and screaming. My tactics were successful because of the people of this unit that came in, stepped up to the plate, and hit home runs at every detail. That was then. Now I have no legs to stand on. The hours of dropped and I can not possibly argue that 2 coordinators are necessary for this unit. Between that and the infighting amongst all o you, it seems as if it is time to move on or at least take a step back and evaluate the situation further. The tone is set by the members of this unit. You have the power to change the tone. I suggest that you do. What you need to remember is that I stayed in this unit for all of you. I always said, when it becomes work, it is time to go. Unfortunately as of late, it had become work and apparently I have become a babysitter for those who can't get along with each other because of their egos. The abuse towards each other is disgusting. The know it all crap is a disgrace. This is basic immaturity in a place where it does not belong. Grown men acting like babies. I say men because that is where the problem is from A/Capt down. The attitude problems have begun to leak down and are ruining the team vibe that I had going. The disrespect of the chain of command is unreal. Supervisors, every single one of you need to take a good look at yourselves. Ask yourselves how you can better the team? Don't continue to ask yourselves how you can look better? It is a team! It's not about you!!! Wake up! That goes for everyone. This has become a huge Disfunctional family with built in animosity for all. NOT a healthy work environment for anyone. Especially for volunteers. Every single one of you better wake up. You have a mandatory meeting on Thursday and a huge detail tomorrow. My suggestion, show up.

SAVE THE GREEN!!!!! It starts tomorrow night. 5:30 pm. The Rock Center Tree Lighting. We need to show the bosses that Green is necessary to the success of this unit. We need to get out there and show this unit in a positive light. 12 hours a month people. That's all they ask of us. Seriously, we should really be proud to be a part of this unit. We are lucky to have coordinators that actually care. How do we show them that we appreciate them? We fight amongst ourselves constantly. We don't meet the minimum required hours. We embarrass them. I was so motivated after last months meeting. I don't know what went on but we need to fix it as a team. The people who are killing this unit with their power trips and attitudes must go in order to move us forward, we know that but, let's not let that deter us from the real reasons that we all joined. We want to make a difference. Officer Green had the same mentality. It is imperative that we support this unit and coordinator. He built this unit up and made it something better than the norm. Green took this unit to another level. He can't do it without our help and we need to do what we have done in the past. We need to get motivated again. It I not only his responsibility. It is the responsibility of all of us. We have a great opportunity to learn from a great officer and a great man. We need to take advantage of this situation and not take advantage of him. We need to show that we care. Let's go team. Get Motivated. Be Dedicated. Be Proud. Let's go.

Ok people.... I come back from vacation and I hear we have let the leader down. A person who has busted his a$$ for us to be where we are today. And how do most of you repay him? By being disrespectful, not showing up for details and not responding for assistance when needed. Well those days are now over! The free ride of you just claiming to be apart of this unit and not showing up is over. Evaluations will be done. Transfer forms will be handed out and transfers will be automatically granted. Dont like that option you can also resign. Its your choice show up or get out. This Wednesday's Nights detail is huge and as it stands now there are 6 people coming in for it....6!!! Thats freaking pathetic. get in here and do what you volunteered to do or by all means contact me for a transfer or your resignation.

I have a suggestion for PO Green, I think you should just kick out the members that simply do not show a interest in being in the program, by the sounds of it you have members that simply don't want to be in the program. This same scenario happen when I was in JROTC in my second year. My former Army Instructor which is retired now decided that for the survival of the program all inactive members should be terminated from the program and seek members who are truly devoted into the program. The best thing that you can do PO Green is to replace the members who simply dont want to participate with the program and bring in the people who are willing and motivated to become part of the Auxiliary program and of the CTTF team, people who will make a true difference for everyone. It's the only solution for having a effective team.

I believe that this is the best auxiliary unit and we will shine once again. We need personnel for the tree lighting this Wednesday. Your service is appreciated by all.
