I apologize Perguini, there is a misunderstanding here which is my fault; reading it back I clearly used poor verb-age. My intent on the word pathetic was in reference to the attendance this weekend.

I appreciate your enthusiasm for the A/PO role and passion for this unit. In fact, I whoteheartedly share it. And, I believe I understand the motivation for your most recent post and completely agree that we are all privileged and honored to serve under the two most committed, supportive, and professional coordinators in this program. We are all very fortunate. That said, I invite and implore you to exercise more discretion in who you call pathetic. I do not feel it is fair nor appropriate for you to call anyone in this unit who wears that uniform pathetic. Nor is it your place to invite anyone to leave. That decision belongs to our coordinators and commanding officers who, as you know, are the best in this department. As a team member and fellow A/PO, I respect your opinion and will always support you. However, as such, I take great pride in this role and honor the privilege of serving the most elite APS unit of the most prestigious law enforcement agency in the world. For that reason, I will not allow you to label anyone who serves with me in this unit as pathetic and am sure that you did not intend to do so. If you did, I would love to have a private conversation with you. Fidelis ad Mortem!

NY APO, An individual step in character training is to put responsibility on the individual. This is not a matter of authority it’s a matter of MOTIVATION. To confuse the two is a demeaning matter of ignorance. Lets get one thing straight here, this unit is elite for a reason - we are not sheep and therefore we are not treated as such. You cannot hope to build a better unit without improving the individuals. I don’t know how things work in your command nor does it concern me. We are a TEAM here at the CTTF and I’m claiming responsibility and doing my piece. I have complete authority within THIS unit as ‘just an officer’ to take upon this responsibility. This is about shifting habits and attitudes, not bureaucracy.

NY APO, it is not about authority. It is about frustration, in which I completely agree with A/PO Stauber. He is very dedicated and when people put their hearts into something, at times emotions take over. He is defending his coordinators. He knows that we are not happy at this time and he is frustrated. That's heart! That is a teammate! This is a family! We are the CTTF!

I must apologize for my previous post due too its numerous typos. I was merely trying to state that in my command or in my department, 1 must hold a supervisory rank in order to have authoritative responsibilities. I was wondering why officerStauber had these responsibilities with his current title. since officer Stauber is just an officer. again, I mean absolutely no disrespect. It is merely a question to be answered. Thank you. Again you guys are doing a great job!

hello, I am a fellow auxiliary officer from the surrounding area and have been monitoring your website periodically. I understand that officers green and navarro are the cordinators, and if there are various sergeants, but I who was wondering under what authority auxiliary officer Stauber was making his statements. I do not say this with disrespect to the auxiliary officer, just wondering if you have me or to the responsibilities in your command. I ask because in my department and come and take it really, 1 must be a supervisor in order to have a story to the responsibilities, and of those oreo sister does not hold rank. Just wondering....again not to be disrespectful.

After a much needed break due to a death in my family as many of you know I am officially back to business today. I'm seeing that we may have a lapse again in team motivation. So with that said im back and for those of you with the low pathetic hours and are holding back this unit you will be shown the door. I have x-fer papers ready for you to sign if you cannot step as be part of this great team! You have no idea how lucky we are to have the motivation of our two coordinators. The Diva is back and I will not allow you to mess up this great team we have become!

What is this a book club ladies?? How about you post up your excuses because once again for many of you, YOUR EXCUSES SPEAK LOUDER THAN YOUR ACTIONS! For the exception of the few MEN who showed up yesterday, you're all PATHETIC! I'm getting really tired of this week after week. It breaks my heart to watch the 2 best coordinators in this department carrying faces' of disappointment because you can't work hard/play hard with the rest of us. Can't handle it? GET OUT. It's sickening. If you're interested in doing the minimum, I'll be more than happy to help you fill out your transfer paperwork to midtown-south/north; wherever you want to go. Free-loading IS no more in this unit. Step up or step aside.
UPDATE ON TRANSFERS
06-04-2012 9:07:29 AM EST
To anyone that has put in for a transfer to the CTTF: I have been receiving a lot of calls from officers that are attempting to leave their current commands and transfer to the CTTF. APS is currently processing your transfers. I ask that you still put in the hours at your current command. Do not stop doing hours. You need to keep up the motivation and determination that keeps you in this program. Those of you that may have a problem with your coordinator should still respect the rank and understand that everyone has a different approach to this program. There is no correct way to run a unit, just different ways. The MTS is a very busy place and Officer Menendez works very hard. Respect that!!! He is a great academy instructor and your safety is paramount to him. We can not just take all of you at one time and leave the MTS empty. It is not fair to the MTS, or the dept. If you have put in the request for transfer, it will be processed and we look forward to getting you. For now, keep up the great work that you are known for. Stay Safe!!!

Officer Green, Count me in to assist with the Puerto Rican Day Parade detail on Sunday, June 10. Please let me know what time we will depart from the Command. Thank you.

GREAT JOB TODAY BY A/CAPT. QUINONES, A/PO STAUBER, A/PO COHEN, AND A/PO MAGEE. You guys worked very hard and it was appreciated and noted by the Chief. The other thing noted by the Chief of Transportion was the lack of manpower that turned out for today's detail and I was questioned about that. I am not going to be questioned about that again!!! The Puerto Rican Day Parade is next Sunday. We really need to turn out a large crew for that detail. NO EXCUSES!!! Too many people with low hours in this command. Too many people taking advantage. People that will get that phone call this week to turn in their ID's and shields. We run a very positive and good program and we do not deserve to be taken advantage of. We have tried hard to avoid this, but the only way to get the job done is to terminate some of you. Remember we are not terminating you, you have terminated yourself. Very sad! Those of you that have done the hours and who show up regularly, I commend you. Keep it up. The message is for all ranks. If you are an A/Sgt. and have not put in the hours required by you, we will be handling that as well. NO MORE!!! NOT HERE!!! This command is for MOTIVATED, DEDICATED AND PROUD members of the NYPD Auxiliary program. No room here for any less. This is an intense place and that's why we are so successful. We work hard and play harder. We strive to be the best and we are. Those patches are earned. If you can't handle the intensity, time for transfer. This is Law Enforcement Ladies and Gentlemen. This is the CTTF. No posers here. WE WILL PUT THE BEST TEAM TO EVER WEAR THAT UNIFORM TOGETHER. I PROMISE THAT!!!! TIME FOR AN OVERHAUL!!!!

Good morning Troops. I'm in route to the command on this wonderful Sunday morning. Today is going to be a great day. The Sun just came up, and I'm extremely energetic. Let's all wake up with a positive attitude today and get as much as we can out of the day. I hope to see some of you today at the Parade. If not, it is going to get very cloudy and very nasty out. Hurricane Green type stuff. If your hours are low (yes you) you better get in! I have a lot of new people that need locker space. GET MOTIVATED!!!! Let's go CTTF!

CTTF UNIT PATCH
06-02-2012 11:02:45 AM EST
ATTENTION: TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE CTTF AUXILIARY UNIT. PUT THE UNIT PATCH ON YOUR UNIFORMS!!!
The Traffic patch WHEEL: is progress - HORSE: is horse & carriage traffic. This is the oldest patch of the NYPD. In 1904, the difficulties facing the public were a maze of people, horses, bicycles and vehicles vying for space on the streets that were often unpaved, muddy or dusty. The great number of horses on the streets that year was evidenced by the Mounted Division having a major unit called the "Traffic Squad." As vehicles rapidly grew in popularity, their great numbers on the street caused traffic jams. The "Bicycle Squad" which had been formed as a branch of the Traffic Squad by Theodore Roosevelt in 1895 was also used to catch speeders exceeding the city limit of eight (8) mph

ATTENTION: Help is needed for the Salute to Israel Parade tomorrow. Chief Tuller has requested us to be at the end of the parade. He likes how we handle the crowds. Let's not let him down. The turnout is going to be at 0900. I want 2 vans out. It has been a slow couple of weeks. Some of you have not been holding up your end of the bargain. Remember, this is a 2 way street. You are treated very well in this command. You need to treat us just as good. Those of you that have not been around, need to get in and do some hours. TIME TO GET MOTIVATED PEOPLE! 0900, TOMORROW, SALUTE TO ISRAEL!! LET'S DO THIS PEOPLE!!! GET MOTIVATED, STAY DEDICATED, BE PROUD! WE ARE THE CTTF!!!
P.O. Green CONGRATS
06-02-2012 9:35:54 AM EST
I have been waiting to post this for weeks. I would like to finally say CONGRATS to A/PO Adam McKew on his graduation from Nursing School. Adam was able to maintain his hours with the NYPD as well as study his butt off and pass with flying colors. It takes a very special person to be able to do both and still deal with A/Lt. Lewis at home. Just Kidding! Adam shows the determination, the motivation, and the dedication that most of the people in this unit have. He is a leader and an extremely positive influence on all of us. He has earned that RN title and I wish him all the luck in the world. For your hardwork and enthusiasm in this program while studying your butt off, I wish to add you to the Member of the Month along side A/PO Phan and A/PO Lao. Congrats to you A/PO Adam McKew, RN. Keep up the Great Work.
