Team, what can I say that was not said already? 30 members of the C.O.T Auxiliary!I did not see any other Auxiliaries in the mix like we were. I would like to thank you all on a job well done. Once again you proved that you are the elite. I would also like to thank our extended family from HWY1 and HWY2 for coming out. Together we did save the detail from a street takeover. The so called 99% had no chance. I’M ALSO VERY PROUD OF YOU ALL!!! WE ARE THE CTTF!!!! FIDELIS AD MORTEM!!!

TROOPS: Yes, it started out slow last night. It started out slow for all of us. It slowly grew into a mess and YOU, THE CTTF AUXILIARY UNIT were in the right place at the right time to save the day. We are not going to get the credit but, THE CTTF AUXILIARY UNIT absolutely saved the night by posting in just the right spots and keeping the traffic flowing while OWS attempted to shut it down. You stood tall and kept the traffic moving and that kept those protesters out of the street. We got some needed help from our brothers from Highway which boosted our numbers to 30 for the night. 30 members of the Transportation Bureau Auxiliary Units showed up last night and actually got involved in this detail. GREAT JOB!!!! I WAS VERY PROUD OF ALL OF YOU!!!!

Outstanding work by all who participated yesterday. A special thanks to HWY 1 and 2 who actually were of great help especially in getting us to our location. Remember every great running back needs a great fullback, you guys were great. We actually had soooo many members last night that we stretched a long a 7 block area just with our own guys. All of you should be proud of a job well done. This was the highest attended detail that we at CTTF has ever had and you all looked fantastic. Our numbers and strength were noted by all the bosses and so were our efforts. So once again fantastic job by all!!!!!

I can't speak for tonight, but in my past patrols, I've noticed the above. (Just playing, Arsenio). I'm sure you all did a job well done, and I can't wait to join you on patrol again. And to the homeless guy below, well said, well said. I didn't see the original post you replied to, but I hope everyone takes a good look at your posting

Slow at first, but eventually picked up. Great night. Those of you who didn't join the festivities of TEAM BUILDING afterwards missed out. NEXT TIME!

Please remember that this is a public website that can be read by ANYONE. (Me? I'm just the homeless guy you see panhandling around MSG. No police connection whatsoever) Just as ''nature abhors a vacuum,'' the NYPD abhors airing dirty laundry in public. Posting negative comments about some cop in public, no matter how justified you feel they are, can be viewed in the same light as a child throwing a tantrum in the street. Even if what the child wants is reasonable, most passers by have equal disdain for the child, the parent AND the other adult who may seem to be butting in. You now have several EXCELLENT leaders working to redress your situation (what's the last name of that Jerry comedian? You know, the guy who ran the MD Telethon for so many years.) The way to help them help you is to communicate with them and each other in private (you do all know each other,) put in your minimum hours in your existing command as efficiently and politely as possible under the circumstances, and let those leaders work the process. You should ultimately get what you need. But the public ranting can actually attract sympathy from higher up Department Brass AND other coordinators(they all DO read this website)for the guy you regard as your antagonist. And, believe it or not, it can also attract some negative feelings about the guy you see as a savior (remember what the Romans did to... what was that guy's name again?) It's a time-honored police tradition, when encountering a street brawl, to let the combatants fight it out and lock up the winner. That's right... a public street brawl usually ends up with no real winner because those judging the fight usually say ''A plague on both your houses!'' (Don't all homeless guys quote Shakespeare?) Be as polite as possible, keep things low key... everyone will know who the real adults are and you'll get that much further in the situation. (Whoops, gotta go. Someone just got out of a cab and I wanna hit him up for spare change before he puts his wallet away.)

Team...WHAT A GREAT NIGHT! You all rocked it. Thanks to Highway and our 30 members we were out in numbers. We were noticed! I especially want to thank the supervisors who were coordinating the support for the CO, XO, PO Navarro and PO Green.
