CHANGE!!!!! Sometimes you hit a wall. You have a choice to stay there and look at the wall or go through the damn thing. I am the type to go through it!!! You need tools to go through a wall. A hammer just will not do it. Right now, we are standing at that wall with a hammer. CHANGES will have to be made in our tool box. We need a few wrecking balls in this group. We sure do TALK a lot. Some mouths do not stop moving. That is great and all but those mouths are starting to annoy me. The mouths won't break through the wall. ACTION will break the wall down. We have come to the point that CHANGE is necessary to move on. IF YOU THINK THAT THIS TEAM IS ONLY A TEAM BECAUSE OF YOU, BE SURE THAT YOU WILL BE LOOKING FOR ANOTHER COMMAND. THIS IS A TEAM!!!! STOP THE TALKING BEHIMD EACHOTHERS BACKS. STOP RATTING OUT EACHOTHER. STOP THE B.S. NOBODY IS BETTER THAN ANYBODY ELSE. WE EITHER WORK TOGETHER OR WE ALL START LOOKING FOR SOMEPLACE ELSE. THIS INCLUDES WHITE SHIRTS TOO. YOU HAVE AN EVEN BIGGER RESPONSIBILITY TO KEEP THE TEAM TOGETHER. Start acting like a team or CHANGE will occur. Enough of the look at what he did or I can't believe her/him. ENOUGH!!! You sound like a bunch of babies!!!! CHANGE!!! CHANGE!!! CHANGE!!!!! Now, let's dig deep into the tool box!! TAKE THE WRECKING BALLS OUT AND LET'S BUST THROUGH THIS FREAKING WALL!!!!! IT IS TIME FOR CHANGE!!!!! Fidelis Ad Mortem!!!

RE: CTTF TRAFFIC PATCH- Anyone that has not put the traffic patch on the uniform should do so at this point. It is a representation on this unit. It is also something that others can't wear and it drives them nuts. Put that patch on and wear it with pride. It is the oldest patch of the NYC Police Dept. Designed by Theodore Roosevelt himself. The horse represents the Traffic cops directing traffic on horseback and the wheel represents the bicycle wheels of the bicycles which the cops enforced the 8 mph speed limit on. Very unique and special that we are able to carry on this tradition. Fidelis Ad Mortem!!!

Troops, next Sunday is the 2012 Greek Independence Day Parade. It is usually a very fun and nice day. I will be working it and I am looking to put a nice size crew together so that we can utilize those VANS that we have. Please let me know if you are interested in working it. Of course, team building after.

Sorry for the delayed posting. Just got off. The crew that worked the St. Pats parade did an amazing job. Nothing but compliments. I was extremely impressed by the way you all dominated your posts. Although I didn't make it over to 60 and 5, I heard from multiple sources that you all were awesome. Obviously there was tension at the end. Everyone felt it. You might have thought that I was mad at some of you. Not at all. I couldn't of been happier. Something else occured while you were leaving. What you saw was my "game face." If they let me put war paint on, I would. You all did a terrific job and I appreciate it. KEEP IT UP!!!!

Though most of you don’t post on here I do believe the majority of you read this message board so it’s probably the most effective method to get my point across. I know how difficult it can be after working or going to school or both all week to get up early on your Saturday morning, put on your uniform and deal with a parade of loud noises traveling through a sea of people. Although the CTTF presence two weekends ago at the Interfaith Memorial was prominent in comparison to other commands, it was still pathetic in my opinion. I’m an overachiever and I did not get to where I am today by doing the bare minimum. I transferred to this command because I was under the impression that this was THE elite unit; the rock stars. I believe some members of this unit need to be reminded that being part of this unit is like having a driver’s license. Some of you may think it is your right when it is a privilege. If you’re in this because you want to be a full MOS then get in and show how badly you want the job. If you’re in this because you want to serve then I implore you to do as I am and push yourself for details like these a few times a year – it is really a fantastic opportunity for the unit to shine and is personally very rewarding. If you’re in this because you’re content with doing the bare minimum so you can walk around with an NYPD badge then GET OUT of this unit. You will not take credit and demean the hard work and dedication of those who go above and beyond, especially that of P.O. Green and P.O. Navarro. That being said tomorrow’s detail in contrast to the last detail (Interfaith) is A LOT OF FUN!! Get your 5-6 min hours sleep tonight and get in tomorrow morning. Impossible is potential - get excited. Don’t consider or flip a coin just set your alarm. You can sleep in Sunday. Your actions speak louder than your excuses so MAN UP (or woman up to be politically correct =) FIDELIS AD MORTEM

I wish I could have come in yesterday, and this Saturday. Coincidentally, I have been friends with the younger brother of one of our fallen brothers, and I honored their loss from here at home. I will be there "in spirit" on Saturday, hope more people can be there in person. I am so proud and fortunate to be a part of this amazing unit under the incredible leadership of Officers Green and Navarro, even if I can't patrol much these days due to surgery.

Taken from fellow A/PO: "TODAY, EVEN DURING ONE MOMENT OF YOUR DAY AT WORK, SCHOOL OR HOME, REMEMBER OR SAY A SILENT PRAYER IN MEMORY OF 2 YOUNG VOLUNTEER NYPD AUXILIARY POLICE OFFICERS WHO WERE SLAIN IN THE LINE OF DUTY IN GREENWICH VILLAGE, 5 YEARS AGO TODAY (3/14/2007). IN THE FACE OF EVIL AND MORTAL DANGER, THEY TOOK A STAND TO PROTECT THEIR FELLOW NEW YORKERS. MANY LIVES WERE SAVED THAT NIGHT BUT AT THE HEARTBREAKING COST OF 2 YOUNG BRAVE MEN WHO IN THE TRADITION OF THE NYPD'S "FIDELIS AD MORTEM" ( FAITHFUL UNTO DEATH) LAID DOWN THEIR LIVES SO THAT OTHERS LIVED. REST IN PEACE: AUXILIARY POLICE OFFICERS EUGENE MARSHALIK AND NICHOLAS PEAKERO. ALWAYS REMEMBERED."
