I had the opportunity to tour the new NYPD Academy in Queens yesterday with Commissioner Bratton and other top brass. APOs applying to the Academy should know that the new campus is an impressive state-of-the-art facility. Efforts are being made to speed up the application process. I hope those of you on the list will hear good news sooner than later.

CTTF was a vital part of the MASSIVE pedestrian and vehicular traffic control operation required for the Dominican Day Parade at the key intersection of 6th Avenue and 42nd Street. GREAT job by everyone who turned out with Det. Green, ADI Quinones and me; APOs Levoff, Liu, Robinson, Morales, Thakoer, Mujakic, Toussaint, Mirco, Joseph, and brand new APOs (performing in Rough Rider tradition as though they've been doing it for months) Heneks, Cruz and, on his maiden detail, Rodriguez. Thank you all.

After a through investigation and hard work. A/PO Vera and myself have now located the missing gas cap for 7894. The gas cap has been put back on, however the string to keep it attached to the van is still unaccounted. Please be mindful of this when gassing up the van! Thank you and great work Brit!!!

From the start of my tour to the end the radio was non stop. When I first started my tour with Sgt Stauber and APO Albergo we responded to numerous calls, being the back up for sectors in our surrounding precincts. I even got to communicate with TMC over the radio! As corny as that is I had a blast and felt so accomplished!! I then finished my tour with El captain himself! Captain Dedier and I responded to more than a handful of violent Edps in the midtown north and south. Every sector that we encountered thanked us for being there first and helping them handle the job. We are a serious asset to this city. Only thing that was missing was you guys!!!! WAKE UPPPPPP!!! The Summers not over guys and gals! Get in and get experience!! ALL IN ALL THE TIME!!!
