WHAT IS GOING ON WITH SUNDAY? I HAVE ONLY SEEN A FEW POSTS. LADIES AND GENTS, I AM NOT GOING TO BE IN BECAUSE I WILL BE SPENDING THE WEEKEND WITH THE COAST GUARD. NOBODY IS TAKING THE LEAD HERE. Very well done indeed. I was in the office w/ P.O. Green when a veteran regular P.O. came down into the dungeon to compliment our Coordinator on the professionalism with which A/Sgts France and McSweeney and their teams had just handled the pin job. Most regular cops have other things on their minds than literally going out of their way to compliment Auxiliaries, so you know how sincere the praise is.

Once again this unit showed the city why we are the best. No other auxiliary unit stood next to you in the trenches last night at the MayDay Rally. No other auxiliary unit was requested by a Chief. YOU WERE! Not only were you requested by a Chief, the Chief was actually asking me why our unit wasn't marching into the detail like we are known for. That was corrected and the Chief had a huge smile on his face saying, "now that's what I'm talking about." After the great job at the rally, this unit assisted CTTF and the FDNY in a 10-53 overturned vehicle with 2 people pinned. Everyone was talking about how good our unit handled the situation and how the CTTF Auxiliary unit took over the scene and took back control of the area. That is not an easy task. That is what we do. That is why I am proud of all the men and women of the CTTF Auxiliary Unit. MOTIVATED, DEDICATED, PROUD. SETTING THE STANDARD AND MAKING A DIFFERENCE. WE ARE THE CTTF!

I will just jump out in front here and explain how courtesy tours work. If you are looking to perform a courtesy tour with the CTTF, you MUST get permission from your coordinator. Your coordinator must verify that you have permission by calling the CTTF coordinators. Your hours will be credited to your current command. It is that simple. My suggestion is, call us first then ask permission from your coordinator.
