P.O. GREEN   MEMBER OF THE MONTH
04-05-2013 7:40:56 AM EST

OVERCOMING OBSTACLES WHILE STAYING MOTIVATED is not an easy task. What would you do if you needed to get to the castle but every turn you made was blocked? You try everything but you are just beating a dead horse. Standing in quick sand, would you continue to fight? Our Member of the Month did. She ran into many obstacles in her attempt to become a Rough Rider but she remained focused and followed her heart. I am very proud to award the Member of the Month Award for the month of March to A/PO Marisol Lisboa. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!!

I'm in for Saturday's Tartan Day Parade. With the report time at the Castle rolled back to 1200 hrs, it certainly should be the easy and fun detail A/Lt. Lewis suggested in his earlier post.

04-03-2013 11:29:58 AM EST
I will be in this evening by 1800 (as I posted yesterday at 2:30:14 PM EST - just seven posts below this.) If you wish to report earlier, there may be another supervisor or a coordinator in before me - watch this board for an update. If you find the office door locked, there should be an APS 10 hanging on a clipboard outside the door on which to make your initial entry. Early arrivals who need a loaner vest can change into uniform trousers while awaiting the first supervisor or coordinator who can issue a vest. I look forward to seeing APOs Frith-Jones, Fredericks and any other proud Rough Riders who want to serve the City tonight.

I'm going to have to agree with Sgt Sterler here. This is some disgruntled A/PO or possibly not even a member of the force any longer. We know who we are, and nobody in this unit needs to proves themselves to some anonymous idiot on the Internet. We clear? Carry on Rough Riders.

APO Taveras, my proud sister, it is highly doubtful that the sad fool who posted the misguided opinion that members of our team are ''stuck up'' is actually an A/DI. He called HIMSELF an unflattering name in his own (badly misspelled) post, I believe most A/DIs have better things to do than deface our board in the dead of night, and there are so few of that rank in the program that his true identity could possibly be guessed IF he were genuinely an A/DI. No, the pathetic creature who elicited the righteous outpouring of Rough Rider pride, of which you are part, is more likely a lower ranker who is devoid of pride in his own unit or in himself and doesn't even deserve the initials APO in front of his name.

I don't know what it was that A/DI posted on our amazing message board, but whatever it is that he did post up let him/her keep thinking that our unit isn't the best because that pushes us to show him or her that we are the best and we will continue to be the best. We are a MOTIVATED, DEDICATED, and PROUD unit and no one in their right minds can do anything to bring us down. We are a family and we all have each others backs, so if you mess with one you mess with all of us!!i am proud to be a member of this unit and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else!! CTTF ROUGH RIDERS ALL THE WAY BABY!!!!!
