A/PO Cyrus D-Something has just come up short of being the member of the month in the past few months. This month, he really turned it on. A/PO KAREN "SNIPER" THOMAS
Leadership is "organizing a group of people to achieve a common goal". The leader may or may not have any formal authority. Students of leadership have produced theories involving traits, situational interaction, function, behavior, power, vision and values, charisma, and intelligence, among others. Somebody whom people follow: somebody who guides or directs others. Leadership is A/PO Sniper Thomas!!! A/PO Sniper is the first RECRUIT to win this award. A/PO Thomas, now a full A/PO became an instant leader in her recruit class and a huge motivator. Since graduation, she has been killing the hours racking up almost 50 hours for the month of August. Remember, it is only the 13th. A/PO Thomas has been a huge positive influence to everyone including myself. I received a letter from A/PO Sniper while I was in Boot Camp. Her words lifted my spirit and helped me through a very tough time. She is full of motivation, dedication, and pride. She is commited to this unit and has some great ideas on how to take us to the next level. We are very lucky to have her on board. It is my pleasure to present the MEMBER OF THE MONTH AWARD FOR THE MONTH OF JULY TO A/PO "SNIPER" THOMAS!!!! KEEP UP THE GREAT ATTITUDE AND THE GREAT WORK. KEEP LEADING THE WAY!!! KEEP SETTING THE STANDARD. CONGRATS!

For the second month in a row, I proudly present the MEMBER OF THE MONTH AWARD to AUXILIARY POLICE OFFICER KAREN "SNIPER" THOMAS. Job well done and keep it up. A/PO GONZALEZ, A/PO COSME, A/PO SOOHOO
February's Members of the Month were chosen because of all the hard, dirty work that went into the new locker room areas. They didn't question what needed to be done. They rolled up their sleeves and followed my orders like men on a mission. All of us owe these men a thank you. Because of their hard work and dedication to this team, I am giving A/PO Gonzalez, A/PO Cosme, and A/PO Soohoo the Member of the Month award for February. Great job!!!
A/PO MARISOL LISBOA
OVERCOMING OBSTACLES WHILE STAYING MOTIVATED is not an easy task. What would you do if you needed to get to the castle but every turn you made was blocked? You try everything but you are just beating a dead horse. Standing in quick sand, would you continue to fight? Our Member of the Month did. She ran into many obstacles in her attempt to become a Rough Rider but she remained focused and followed her heart. I am very proud to award the Member of the Month Award for the month of March to A/PO Marisol Lisboa. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!!
